• You can now use .IS domains with DNS using loon and osprey nameservers associated with BB5871-IS. (2025-01-21)
• Plans to retire quetzal due to costs are underway. (2025-01-05)
• All DNS operations are now secured using TSIG with HMAC-SHA512 algorithims instead of ACLs and/or HMAC-SHA256. (2024-12-14)
• Security updates are now on a fixed schedule. You can reasonably expect downtime every Friday around 20:00 UTC (2024-11-19)
• DNSSEC is now available for non-essential domains. You can request DNSSEC on your domain by reaching out. (2024-11-12)
• DNS is now live for all members. You can edit your records by SSH'ing using the "magic" port and navigate to /etc/bind/zones/USER/DOMAIN. Web management is planned to be added soon™ (2024-11-01)
